Access Gating and Dunning Process

Learn how Scheduler handles access control and failed payments.

Access Gating and Dunning Process

To ensure the smooth operation of our service, Scheduler has systems in place to manage access based on subscription status and to handle any issues with payments.

Access Gating

Access to the core features of Scheduler, such as the /search and /book functionalities, is protected by access gating. This means that only users with an active trial or a valid subscription are able to use the application to search for and book appointments.

If a user's trial has expired or their subscription has been cancelled or suspended, they will not be able to access these features.

Dunning Process

In the event of a failed payment, Scheduler has a dunning process in place to help resolve the issue.

  1. Notification: If a payment fails, the account administrator will be notified of the issue.
  2. Grace Period: We provide a short grace period to allow you to update your payment details and resolve the problem.
  3. Suspension: If the payment issue is not resolved within the grace period, the account will be suspended, and access to Scheduler will be revoked until the outstanding payment is made.

This process is designed to be fair and to provide you with ample opportunity to address any payment issues before your service is interrupted.
