Testing Your First Booking

A guide to performing your first test booking with Scheduler.

Once you have completed the implementation checklist and configured your first workflow, it is time to perform a test booking to ensure that everything is working correctly.

How to Test

  1. Open a Source Record: Navigate to a record in the Zoho CRM module that you have configured as your source module. For example, if you have set up your workflow to be triggered from the Leads module, open a test lead.

  2. Trigger Scheduler: Use the custom button or the Chrome extension to launch Scheduler from the test record.

  3. Search for Slots: Scheduler will open and display a list of available appointment slots based on the rules you have configured.

  4. Book a Test Slot: Select one of the available slots and complete the booking form.

  5. Verify the Booking: Once the booking is complete, check the following to ensure that the process has worked as expected:

    • Destination Record: Check that a new record has been created or an existing record has been updated in your destination module with the correct information.
    • Meeting/Event: If you have enabled the "Create meeting" option, check that a new meeting or event has been created and linked to the destination record.
    • Notifications: If you have configured email notifications, check that the client has received a confirmation email and a calendar invite.

By performing a thorough test, you can be confident that your Scheduler setup is correct and ready for your team to start using.
