Zoho CRM Edition Limitations
While Scheduler is designed to work with all editions of Zoho CRM, there is one key limitation to be aware of related to the use of custom buttons.
Custom Buttons
The ability to add custom buttons to modules in Zoho CRM is only available in the Enterprise and Ultimate editions. This is a limitation of Zoho CRM itself, rather than of Scheduler.
If you are using a version of Zoho CRM that is lower than the Enterprise edition, you will not be able to add custom buttons to launch Scheduler. In this case, you will need to use the Scheduler Chrome extension.
Automatic Button Creation
When you install the Scheduler for Zoho CRM extension, a custom button for "Workflow 1" is automatically created in the Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Deals modules. This button will have the name "Scheduler Workflow 1". This automatic creation is subject to the same edition limitations.
For all other workflows, and for users on lower editions of Zoho CRM, the Chrome extension provides a reliable and consistent way to launch the application.
