Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Scheduler.
Why don’t I see custom buttons in Zoho?
Custom buttons are only available on the Enterprise and Ultimate editions of Zoho CRM. If you are on a lower edition, you will need to use the Scheduler Chrome extension to launch the application.
Why can’t Meetings be the destination module?
Scheduler is designed to simplify the data flow between the application and your CRM. By using a module like Deals as the destination and then creating a linked Meeting, we can ensure a more robust and reliable integration. This approach avoids potential complexities and ensures that your CRM data remains well-structured.
What fields are required on the booking form?
As a minimum, the booking form must include all the fields that are mandatory in your destination module and in the Events module (if you are creating meetings). You can add other fields to the form as needed.
How many slots should I offer per day?
This is entirely up to you and will depend on the nature of your business. A good starting point is to offer three slots per day (e.g., 10:00, 13:00, and 16:00). You can then adjust this based on the average duration of your appointments and the travel constraints of your field agents.
Can I run multiple workflows (e.g., Sales + Service)?
Yes, you can run as many workflows as you need. Each workflow is independent, with its own settings and its own trigger buttons. This allows you to create tailored booking processes for different parts of your business.
