Post-Booking Actions

Once a telephone agent clicks the "Schedule" button on the booking form, Scheduler's backend performs a series of automated actions to finalise the booking and ensure that all your systems are updated.

The post-booking process includes the following steps:

  1. Create/Update Destination Record: Scheduler creates a new record or updates an existing one in the destination module you have specified in your workflow settings.

  2. Create Meeting (Optional): If you have enabled the "Create meeting" option, Scheduler will also create a new Meeting (Event) in your Zoho CRM and link it to the destination record.

  3. Write Mapped Values: The application writes all the mapped values to the destination record. This includes the Booking date time and the automatically calculated Booking end date time.

  4. Trigger Notifications (Optional): If you have configured email notifications, Scheduler will send a confirmation email and a calendar invitation to the client.

  5. Confirm Success: The user interface provides a confirmation message to the telephone agent to let them know that the booking was successful. The agent is then seamlessly returned to their record list in Zoho CRM.

These automated post-booking actions ensure that your CRM data is always accurate and up-to-date, and they reduce the manual workload for your team, allowing them to focus on their core tasks.
