Triggering Scheduler from Zoho CRM

Learn how to launch the Scheduler application from within Zoho CRM.

There are two primary ways to launch, or "trigger", the Scheduler application from within your Zoho CRM:

  1. Custom Buttons: For users on the Enterprise or Ultimate editions of Zoho CRM, you can use custom buttons that are placed directly on your CRM records. When you install the Scheduler for Zoho CRM extension, these buttons are automatically created for "Workflow 1". For any additional workflows, you will need to create the buttons manually.

  2. Chrome Extension: For users on all editions of Zoho CRM, the Scheduler Chrome extension provides a simple and consistent way to launch the application. The extension will detect when you are viewing a CRM record and provide an icon that you can click to open Scheduler.

When you trigger Scheduler using either of these methods, the application will open in a new window and will automatically be passed the context of the record you were viewing. This includes the module and the record ID, which are used to initiate the slot search. This seamless integration ensures that your telephone agents can move from viewing a customer's record to booking an appointment in a single click.

To trigger the app from your Zoho CRM account, from the record where you wish to trigger the application, click on the top right corner to find the action button list, and find the button that relates to your workflow.

When installing the application, the following button will be installed automatically: Scheduler workflow 1
