A guide to the process of selecting and booking an appointment slot.

Selecting and Booking a Slot

Once Scheduler has presented a list of available appointment slots, the telephone agent can select the one that is most suitable for the customer. The process of selecting and booking a slot is designed to be quick and intuitive.

Selecting a Slot

The agent simply clicks on the desired slot from the list of options. This will initiate the final stage of the booking process.

The Booking Form

After a slot has been selected, a booking form modal will appear. This form is used to confirm the key details of the appointment and to gather any additional information that is required.

The fields that appear on this form are determined by the configuration of the Booking Form section in your workflow settings. This can include a mixture of read-only fields for confirmation purposes and editable fields for capturing new information.

Completing the Booking

Once the agent has filled in all the necessary fields on the booking form, they click the Schedule button to finalise the appointment. At this point, Scheduler's backend takes over and performs a series of actions to record the booking and notify the relevant parties.
