Enabling Meeting Creation and End Time

Learn how to automatically create meetings and manage appointment end times.

Enabling Meeting Creation and Appointment End Time

To further streamline your booking process, Scheduler provides options for automatically creating meetings in your CRM and for managing the end times of your appointments.

Meeting Creation

By default, Scheduler will create a Meeting (Event) in your Zoho CRM for each booking that is made on the destination module. This ensures that all your appointments are recorded in your CRM calendar, making it easy for your field agents to view their schedules.

Field agents can view their meetings from the Zoho CRM mobile app. For more advanced features, such as route planning, they can use the RouteIQ app (requires a separate subscription).

Appointment End Time

To accurately schedule appointments, your CRM will need a field to store the end time of each booking. If such a field already exists in your destination module, you should map it in the App Field Mapping section of the workflow settings.

If you do not have a field for the appointment end time, you will need to create one in your destination module before you can complete your workflow configuration. The end time is automatically calculated by Scheduler based on the start time of the appointment and the default meeting duration you have set in your slots policy.
