Mapping CRM Fields
Learn how to map additional CRM fields in your Scheduler workflow.
Mapping CRM Fields
In addition to the essential App Fields, Scheduler allows you to map any other CRM Fields from your source module to your destination module. This is particularly useful for ensuring that all necessary information is carried over when a booking is made.
Why Map CRM Fields?
Mapping CRM fields allows you to automate the transfer of data between different modules in your CRM. For example, if a booking is initiated from a Lead and a new Deal is created, you can map fields such as "Company", "Contact Name", and "Email" to ensure that this information is automatically populated in the new Deal record.
This is especially important for any fields that are mandatory in your destination module. By mapping these fields, you can ensure that your CRM data remains complete and consistent, without requiring your telephone agents to enter the information manually.
Your Zoho CRM organisation may have its own unique set of required fields for different modules. Be sure to check which fields are mandatory in your destination module and ensure that they are all mapped in your workflow settings.
How to Map CRM Fields
In the CRM Field Mapping section of the workflow settings, you can add any number of additional field mappings. For each mapping, you will need to specify:
- The source field in your source module.
- The target field in your destination module.
By taking the time to set up your CRM field mappings correctly, you can significantly streamline your booking process and improve the quality of your CRM data.
