Mapping App Fields

A guide to mapping Scheduler's App Fields to your CRM fields.

Mapping App Fields

For Scheduler to function correctly, it needs to understand how its internal fields, known as App Fields, correspond to the fields in your Zoho CRM. This is done through the process of field mapping.

The App Field Mapping section of the workflow settings is divided into two parts:

  • Source Module Fields: These are the App Fields that pull information from your source module.
  • Destination Module Fields: These are the App Fields that push information to your destination module.

Source Module Fields

These fields provide the initial context for the booking. You will need to map each of these App Fields to the corresponding field in your source module.

  • Booking agent: The user who is making the booking.
  • Input street / city / postcode: The address of the appointment. The postcode is particularly important, as it is used to calculate travel times.
  • Customer email: The email address of the client, used for sending confirmations and calendar invites.

Destination Module Fields

These fields are used to record the details of the new booking in your destination module. You will need to map each of these App Fields to the corresponding field in your destination module.

  • Field agent: The user who will be attending the appointment.
  • Booking date time: The start time of the appointment.
  • Booking end date time: The end time of the appointment, which is automatically calculated based on the default duration.
  • Output street / city / postcode: The address of the appointment, which is written to the destination record.

It is essential that all of these App Fields are correctly mapped for your workflow to operate as expected. Some of these fields are fixed and cannot be edited by the telephone agent in the booking form.
